I started this newsletter because I know what it feels like to love cars, grow up around them, and still see the world tell women that the garage isn’t their place.'

From the time I was little, NASCAR was playing in the background while I hung out with my dad, bonding over the sound of engines and late-night pit talk. I’ve owned a shop, studied at Universal Technical Institute, and even raced a few times at Evergreen Speedway. Cars aren’t just something I do — they’re part of who I am.

But here’s the thing. Every time I walked into a shop, or saw a woman trying to buy a car, or even just asked a simple question, I saw how often we get dismissed, talked down to, or flat-out ripped off. And I thought, enough is enough.

The Baddie Mechanic is my way of giving women the knowledge and confidence they deserve. I want to make car care girly, gritty, and simple. I want women to know they can pop the hood, walk into a dealership, or talk to a mechanic without second-guessing themselves.

This isn’t just about cars. It’s about empowerment. It’s about taking control of the things we were told we couldn’t or shouldn’t do. And it’s about proving that yes, you can rock lip gloss and torque wrenches at the same time.

That’s why I started this. To create a space where baddies can be confident in their cars, their choices, and themselves.
